Psalm 143:8

Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust.

Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.

1. Recognize/Realize my Great Need for You, O Lord

Psalm 51:3

For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me.

Ephesians 2:1, 5, 8, 9

And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked

Even when we were dead in our trespasses, He made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

1 John 1:8,9

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

2. Create in me a Clean Heart

Psalm 51:10

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
